UNI flour can be used as a thickener in soups and gravies.
Here is how:
1.When preparing soup, take a half cup of water and add a table spoon of flour.
2.Whisk it until it is smooth.
3.Then add this mixture to the soup and stir gently until it thickens.
4.Allow to simmer for 5minutes.
Adjustments to the amount of water can be made with practice. An alternative would be to use the soup instead of water, make sure that the mixture is smooth, so that on returning to the rest of the soup, there are no lumps of flour.
